It has been a cold spring so far, but temperatures are finally warming up and the mason bees are getting ready to hatch. It's time to take your mason bees out of your refrigerator and put them in your yard. Put the tube inside the black house on top of the nesting block and take off the tape. The bees will chew out of the cocoons and find their way out of the drilled hole in the cap.
If you have already put your mason bees out, don't worry! Either they have hatched out to pollinate your early blooming fruit trees, or they have stayed dormant in their cocoons waiting for it to get warmer.
We appreciate your business and look forward to hearing stories about your bees! We love seeing pictures and videos of the bees hard at work. Thank you for supporting Rent Mason Bees.
